# KYC Status

Numeric status used by card-issuing user records. The standalone merchant KYC OpenAPI does not use these values: its `kyc_status` is a string enum (`NOT_STARTED`, `PROCESSING`, `APPROVED`, `REJECTED`, `EXPIRED`) defined in [Query KYC Status](/reference/api-reference/kyc-api/query.md).
